The World Prosperity Organization (WPO) and the Center for University Studies and Investigation (CEEUNI) signed a memorandum of understanding this past Thursday November 9 in Morelia, the state capital of Michoacan for the purpose of developing the next generation of women in public servants.
The Center for University Studies and Investigation (CEEUNI) has developed partnerships throughout Latin America and across Europe with a diversity of organizations and leadership in representation of but not limited to justice departments, courts systems, members of the intelligence community, investigation centers, Universities etc.
The partnership was signed in the presence of Dr. Jarintzin Resendiz Camacho, Director of the Center of University Studies and Investigation and Ramon Barajas III, Secretary General of the World Prosperity Organization.
During the celebration, some of the projects and initiatives discussed as part of the alliance were aimed at the development and training of a new age of women leaders in public office through education and mentoring. The creation of a program aimed at mentoring future women detectives, crime investigators, police, etc through scientific methodology was something that was needed in Mexico and in the Latin America in general.
The United States of America is a leader in research and hosts the top technology and scientific equipment needed for a crime investigation of any case. For this, the creation of such program would allow for future specialists in such fields to learn from top experts directly. Despite this program being designed primarliy for women, the aim is for this program to be accesible for men and women that are ready to pioneer and transform the future of these public institutions and its methods through a scientific and human rights approach.
There was also the discussion of the creation of a program aimed at mentoring recent graduates and appointed lawyers looking to establish themselves as a law firm. Such program will serve as an incubator for the next generation of lawyers, primarily women. The program will also look to form a collective with the aim of establishing a network of lawyers of a diversity of practices in order to share experiences, industry research, network, etc.
